CVCA Cardiac Care for Pets is growing! We are building a team of technicians and assistants for our new location in Lawndale, CA.
Our open date is set for March/April, 2024 with team training likely to begin in March.
We are seeking a Credentialed Technician or Veterinary Assistant with management experience to lead our new team.

Summary:
Office Team Leaders play an integral role ensuring optimum patient care and support of cardiology via organization of daily operations, problem solving, and leading their team at their assigned location.
They organize and implement practices to achieve the goals and desires of the orginization and manage business activities of the company by promoting and instilling CVCA values, leading and maintaining a Will Do attitude.
CVCA provides team members with focused, on-the-job cardiac training to develop strong support skills.
Leveraging their growing experience, knowledge and good judgement, our technical staff directly assist the cardiologist by providing key technical work to the patient and helping with excellent record keeping.
All our technical support staff serve as critical liaisons for patient families, primary care vets, pharmacists, and other technical support staff.
Their communication with clients and the primary care community plays a significant role in ensuring the very best patient and client care.

Qualifications:

Work requires lifting and carrying animals (will be assisted by other staff members in lifting animals over 40 lbs).

May be exposed to bites, scratches and contagious diseases Duties Perform general Veterinary Technician/Assistant duties Instill CVCA values Maintain a positive working relationship with all CVCA offices to achieve company goals Delegate and help maximize employee potential Problem solving and coaching others to problem solve Manage/oversee day to day operations at assigned office Inventory IT issues and troubleshooting Client management Team management Ensure office is running efficiently Assist in marketing of the location Assist in identifying possible avenues for advertising/promoting CVCA Assist with organizing marketing events and recruiting team members Supervision of technical and client service representative staff members Keep lines of communication open Break the gossip culture Assist in shift coverage Flexibility in scheduling Assist in assessing need for coverage when someone is out and make operational adjustments as necessary (asking staff in another location to help with phones or messages, etc.
